The Community Council of Kato Platres, in its effort to respond
to the modern need of its inhabitants, has already completed several
infrastructure and beautification projects.

Construction of two new water-tanks at a higher point of
the community so that the water-supply will be administered
in a wider range. |

Replacement of the entire water-supply system. |

Regional expansion of the water-supply system by 12 kilometres
towards Mandria, Phini, and Platres. |

Asphalt paving, widening, and improvement of the streets.
Registration of new rural roads. |

Various beautification projects. |

Creation of a large community park with a playground, verdant
areas, and a plaza. |

New community buildings where the community's services are
housed. |

Beautification of the two old fountains at the community's
centre. |

Modulation of the botanical garden with sidewalks and trails. |

Construction of flood-prevention projects. |

Construction of a multi-purpose
centre in the middle of the village, which will include an area
for the Community Welfare Board where free lunch will be offered
to the elder inhabitants, a Health Centre, a hall for cultural
events/exhibitions, a playground, and a library. |

Construction of a Community Field
in the "Kala Tzilathkia" region. |

Completion of the Botanical Garden
in "Kastrovouno" with sidewalks, alleys made of local
stone, lighting, benches, and a kiosk. |

Expansion of the flood-prevention
projects and improvement of the rural roads. |

Asphalt paving of all the streets
in the community. |
